How we move people....

We strive to be the best at what we do regardless of age and ability. Our school ethos is to create a dynamic environment for performing arts of all ages and abilities. 

The youngest taking their first unsupported steps, and the more mature at nearly 80 tap dancing in a production to a full Lighthouse Theatre! A chance to increase ones fitness, to explore the levels of ones ability, as well as to learn a technical element to a fun skill.

The first year of Emma’s solo business venture saw over 100 students enroll and commit to a year of tap, jazz, ballet, street, stage and acrobatics, ultimately culminating in the schools first major performance - “Fireworks of Dance” in July 2012. 

Since then the school has grown unprecedentedly and currently has classes covering all the above plus Contemporary, Pointe, Pilates, Cheerleading, Zumba, Fitness Classes, Drama and Vocal coaching.
The objective of the school is to provide a second to none experience in Dorset for children looking to learn to the best of their ability, and to have fun in showing off their skills wherever possible at public performances, examinations, medal tests and at shows hosted by ourselves and others. 

We often see our pupils being selected for Christmas productions, pantomimes, and TV shows like The Voice, X-Factor and Got to Dance.

Our school follows the BTDA syllabus and we are proud to provide qualified dance teachers with CRB and accredited qualifications as well as enthusiastic class assistants to ensure the dedication to learning of every individual.

The growth of the school and the associated move to our premises with 2 dance studios at Priory View Road, Moordown, has enabled us to introduce new elements such as Singing and Drama. Our syllabus follows LAMDA and examinations are taken according to their protocols.

Our emphasis is on enjoying performance. Our terms are split in to Examinations, Medal Tests and Performances which are choreographed by Emma and the teachers. Our Stage Class also perform in other events, competitions and productions.
